Starbucks Copycat Pumpkin Coffee Syrup!
If you've ever had a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte, you know how yummy their pumpkin sauce is. Just the right balance of spice and sweet - it's no wonder everyone is counting down the days until pumpkin spice season.
Well, I've got a copycat recipe that you can make at home for a fraction of the price!
STARBUCKS COPYCAT PUMPKIN COFFEE SYRUP RECIPE
Ingredients:
1 ½ CUP SUGAR
1 ½ CUPS WATER
6 CINNAMON STICKS
1 TSP GROUND CLOVES
1 TSP GROUND GINGER
2 TSP GROUND NUTMEG
4 TBSP PUMPKIN PUREE
Directions:
Combine sugar and water in a pot and bring to a simmer
Once sugar is dissolved, add cinnamon sticks, ground clove, ginger, nutmeg and pumpkin purée
Let simmer for 20 minutes
Remove from heat and immediately strain through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth
You can use this syrup to sweeten and flavour your coffee, or you can even make a latte! For a regular 12oz mug use 4 pumps of this syrup for the perfect Starbucks ratio. Of course you can add more or less according to your taste preference!
